Build Here

BNH is building Africa’s most enduring private institution. The people who build it with us are not looking for a comfortable position. They are looking for the place where the work is consequential, the standards are uncompromising, and the long-term trajectory is exceptional.

We are a lean institution that does not hire volume. Every role at BNH is assessed against the same question: does this person raise the institutional floor, or lower it? If the answer is the former, we make room. If the answer is the latter, we do not proceed, regardless of how the role is framed or how urgent the need appears.

We do not offer the easiest path. We offer the most significant one. If that distinction matters to you, we want to hear from you.

The BNH Trainee Programme

BNH maintains a competitive placement programme for exceptional early-career trainees from Nigeria’s leading universities. This is not a routine graduate placement. It is a structured, performance-managed programme with a defined assessment framework.

We recruit trainees with first-class or upper-second-class honours who are prepared for a high-accountability environment and who want to build their early career at an institution that will challenge them beyond what any graduate programme at a larger organisation will demand.

Senior and Professional Roles

BNH recruits selectively for holding-company and portfolio leadership roles across three categories: Portfolio Managers and operating company leaders within our subsidiary portfolio; professional and technical specialists in finance, law, technology, and operations; and senior roles at the holding company, including the Chief of Staff, Heads of Function, and subsidiary board positions.

Active searches for senior roles are conducted through retained search partners and direct outreach. BNH does not maintain a public job board. If you are a senior professional who believes your background is relevant to BNH’s institutional build and you wish to register your interest, direct your communication to: careers@brendannicholas.com

Include your current role, the nature of your background, and a brief statement of no more than 200 words on why you believe your profile is relevant to BNH at this stage of its institutional development. CV submissions without this statement are not reviewed.
